I’m going to let you in on one of the biggest secrets in marketing… Are you ready?

People buy from people who they feel comfortable with and trust.

It’s that simple. But it goes even deeper than that.

Have you ever been in a car dealership? If you have a pulse I’m sure the answer is yes.

Have you ever noticed that there are some sales people just hanging around and others who seem to be running around like a chicken with its head cut off?

The chances are pretty good that the person doing all the running is generally selling circles around the person standing around. Now the reason I know this is that I spent a few years in this business and it’s absolutely true.

If you have your choice find out the name of the person running around and come back when he has more time to work with you, you’ll be doing yourself a big favor.  Trust me on this one.

Now I tell you this story to say this, the people in that car dealership are selling the exact same product. Yet one is doubling the sales of the other. Why is that?

Trust and Likability.

Real Estate Agents sell from the same MLS, one does great the other does poor. Same reason.

When it comes to Effectively Marketing on the Internet, the same applies. I get emails from all the people who promote Internet Marketing courses, some people I trust others I don’t. It’s the voice of these people that make all the difference for me.  (By the way, I do not promote anyone on here I do not trust.)

How do you go about finding the voice that creates trust and likability?

First, start by providing value FIRST. Give your potential customers something that will benefit them before you start asking for the money. This can come in the form of a FREE report that helps them solve a problem.

Second, work on a positive personality. I have recently been reading Jeffrey Gitomer’s Little Golden Book of the YES! Attitude  , I recommend you get this book. It is loaded with ideas to turn your mind around to one that is upbeat and positive all the time. The premise is to start every challenge with YES! and it get will get you pumping.

Finding your voice in your Internet Marketing is a vital key to being successful online.
